A shattering of glass broke through the tangible lack of sound, the ringing carrying through the night air, bouncing off houses, and echoing out for all to hear.     
“Kuso…”  the soft nasal voice sounded from the window of a rather small Victorian house.  Well, Mansion, actually.  The “mansion” was toy sized compared to it’s predecessors, but the style of the carved wooden poles, and the dusty red curtains hung from the equally dusty red window panes gave indication of tasteless wealth, toned down to size: the effect of poor economic circumstances. Magic gone wrongThe air cooled, the frost formed on the high, arched window, and the girl lifted her left eyebrow, clearly impressed.  “I didn’t know that you had practiced the spell that much Irene.”  The frost departed and Caren couldn’t see her breath anymore, which, despite her good intentions made her feel relieved; she never much liked the uncomfortable, tingling sensation that magic gave her.   Much to her dismay, however, as  soon as the last chill had dissipated, her brother, Token gave a fleeting sweep of his hand and the temperature in the room began to rise at an alarming rate.  Soon enough, a thi Magic gone wrong

Eh... writing?The door clanged open and a ghostly figure stepped through the door.  A rough, heavy cloak covered the shape of his body, and the hood was neatly pulled down  to hide both his face and his countenance.  
 The boy that sat, cowering at the back of the jail cell gave a slight whimper as the man walked towards him, heavy boots falling onto the slimy, misused floor.   “Do not be alarmed” a rough voice came from somewhere inside the hood.  It cracked as if it had not been used in a very, very long time.   The only reaction that the boy gave was a incoherent mumble as he tried to push hims Eh... writing?

Wow... O.O it's been way too long since my last update... lol, almost a year...

I've a single excuse, I've been busy... kinda... doing my homework, procrastinating, practicing, whatever you want to call it. I have to go to dance in an hour or two, so I suppose I should go find that white tutu, wherever I put it >.<' (seriously, how could I lose a tutu? It's not like it's conspicuous or something...)

Recently (or not) I came across the word, "defenestration" and as far as I'm concerned, there is no finer word in the English language. Dictionary.com defines it as 'throwing something, especially humans, out the window'. How awesome is that?! Whenever I think of it, I inevitably think of that scene in "Matilda" where The Trunchable defenestrates a kid and Matilda brings him back through the window with her super powers. Random:yes, but amusing: extremely.
